MYSTERY REMAINS UNSOLVED

The Paulding Light: A True Unsolved Mystery

Scientists, researchers and astronomers have researched it for over a half a century. Speculation and wild theories are still abound.

Absolutely no one has provided a definitive answer to the light known worldwide as: THE PAULDING LIGHT.

A confirmed mystery of the upper peninsula of Michigan. Producer Director Bill Rebane the first to spend over two years investigating the phenomenon and presenting it to the public on film, to this date maintains that this phenomenon could well challenge the scientific community and its research at its best.

While the United States Forrest Service is determined to explain it away as being of "Ghostly Origin." No evidence has sufficed to confirm such speculation.

The Discovery network show Fact or Fake batted zero with its investigations into the light. Finally giving up on it and confirming that it was indeed "fact rather than fake." In short. A true unsolved mystery.

The new re-released Digital documentary a regional best selling DVD is now spurring even further interest and investigations into the one and only mystery in North America yet unsolved.•••

Independent Artists Pictures in production: SILVER STREET- THE DOCUMENTARY

For over one hundred years, Hurley Wisconsin and its main drag, Silver Street, has received its share of national media exposure. Less much for its attributes then for its infamy.

In the annals of history, Hurley is recorded as the "Hell hole" of the America's northern frontier, the iron Range.

Besides offering the nation the valuable commodities of Virgin timber stands and iron ore, Silver Street's main trade was Booze, Sin and Corruption. With its 67 saloons to a six-block stretch of Silver Street. Whiskey flowed not by the glass, but by the barrel.

Famous American Author Edna Ferber, immortalized "Lotta Morgan" the infamous Hurley entertainer and prostitute, in her novel Come and get it.
MGM further brought attention to the northern frontier with its production of Come and get it winning an academy award in 1936.

Hurley's defiance of the law and it's sinful ways continued from its beginning, past the days of prohibition and the times of Al Capone, Dillinger and Baby Face Nelson who loved Hurley's profile and the ways it did business.

Silver Street - The Documentary digs into the history books and stories which emerges as a colorful mosaic, intriguing if not riveting drama of epic proportions that could fill volumes and provide hours of entertainment for the silver screens.

Americas Wild West. From Dodge City to Tombstone, they can all take a back seat to Early Burly Hurley.•••

Independent Artists Pictures to release Dum Dum & Dummer

September 5, 2011 (updated September 15, 2011)

SAXON, Wis. — Independent Artists Pictures (IAP) is preparing to release Dum Dum & Dummer, an action comedy filmed at the Shooting Ranch Studios in Wisconsin in late 1987.

The film had never been released worldwide except in Germany, where it was exhibited as a first cut with the working title Twisters Revenge. Lost film materials prevented the production company to prepare the final cut, which was intended to be given the first choice title of Get That Truck. Subsequently, the picture ended up on the shelf for over 14 years.

Dum Dum & Dummer, a wacky comedy intended for audiences of all ages, lacked nothing in terms of action and went far above in production values than was allowed in the budget at that time. It was never released as a single title DVD or seen on television in any country. IAP believes Dum Dum & Dummer may garner some steam in foreign and domestic sales. Starring the "Bungling Baddies", two M-2 U.S. Army tanks and a monster truck, complimented with a cast of David Allan Smith, Dean West and Richard Luka along with additional current photography, Dum Dum & Dummer will be released in the U.S. around time for the Christmas Holiday season or earlier. •••

September 5, 2011

SAXON, Wis. — Independent Artists Pictures (IAP) start preparation on "The Giant Spider Invasion: The Musical" with preliminary casting calls in Milwaukee and through Jackson Artist Agency in Kansas City.

While production is slated to begin before the first of the year 2012, IAP is preparing all crucial pre-production elements, including the pre-recorded music score and songs for both the production of the film as well as the soundtrack album.

Rebane Reaffirms His Run for Governor of Wisconsin

June 2, 2010

SAXON, Wis. — In his blog today, Bill Rebane reaffirmed his run for governor of Wisconsin. Using unusually strong language for a political candidate, he pulled no punches in his criticism of U.S. president Barack Obama and briefly outlined his platform.

"I will not hold long speeches and provide you with useless political rhetoric," wrote Rebane. "You the voters know what's wrong. Now is the time to make some real decisions and get government out of your lives. We want our country and our freedom back."

Rosemont Production Delayed?

February 28, 2010

SAXON, Wis. — Rumor has it that Enderby Entertainment again has delayed the production of Rosemont, formerly Winter Roses, which was to star Shirley MacLaine. According to a Hollywood inside source, the picture suffered the same fate for the third year because of Shirley MacLaine's attempts to control the entire enchilada of production staff and casting. Shirley MacLaine has been in and out of the project for five years and, at one point, had attempted to plagiarize the original screenplay, written by Bill Rebane.

Rebane, working through Hollywood agent Gerald Wolff, had secured funding in amounts of five to six million dollars for the picture several times, only to be told that the budget was not high enough to attract the major stars, including Shirley MacLaine. Subsequently, Wolff and Associates, in cooperation with Jack Jilardy of ICM, claimed they had set the budget at 23 million and then proceeded to start production in Santa Fe, New Mexico… only to find out — after all sets were built and a crew of fifty union people hired for the production — that Gerald Wolff's money source was fake and that Wolff's investor had been arrested for stock fraud.

Finally, after more numerous attempts to sort out the overall problems and issues, Rebane sold the screenplay to Enderby Entertainment and Rick Dugdale, having been assured the picture would go into production no later than 2009 — and then the winter of 09/10. Finally, Rebane disclosed, just prior to the sale of the screen property, that both Shirley MacLaine and Daniel Petrie Jr. had jointly begun to make changes to the original screenplay, prior to having any permission and/or rights to same.

In closing, Rebane calls this a typical example of Hollywood under-the-table dealings and unscrupulous business practices. •••

Bill Rebane in Final Negotiations with Artists Limited

February 6, 2010

SAXON, Wis. — Bill Rebane is in final negotiations with Artists Limited, an international royalty collection agency and representative for recording artists and producers who have been cheated out of intellectual rights, royalties and income for decades.

Royalty theft and unlicensed use of copyrighted material have reached critical condition status. Artists and producers are, at times, destitute and unable to defend their rights and/or collect on golden age royalties and essential supplementary income from artistic copyrighted works from their past.

Rebane is signing a representation agreement with Artists Limited to collect royalties for the unlicensed use of over ten motion pictures which, over a time span of 30 years, have been exposed on a global basis without regard for intellectual rights, copyrights and royalties thereof, which mandatorily and legally are to flow to toward the rightful owners. For openers, Rebane names Best Brain, the original creators of Mystery Science Theater 3000; Retromedia Entertaniment; Google video; Image Entertainment; bit torrents; Warner Music; Something Weird Video; and The Directors Guild of America in the massive sham being perpertrated on an ongoing basis in the game of piracy and unlicensed fraud by unscrupulous marketers of other people's properties.

Further, Rebane invites any and all music artists and film producers who have suffered from the same violations to write to this website, or directly, for further information on representation on royalty collections.

Artists Limited is currently representing such clients as the Bing Crosby Estate, Cab Calloway, and Eddie Howard, amongst other notable clients. •••
